Company Statement
Statewide Painting Contractors, Inc. conducts business operations in such a manner that injuries and damage to property and/or the environment are avoided. Every effort is made to prevent accidents. Our objective is to provide a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for all employees by adhering to all local, state, and federal health and safety standards. We provide engineering and administrative controls, personal protective equipment, and training to reduce the risk of hazards and to prevent injury and illness. Rules, policies, and procedures have been developed to ensure the safety of each employee.
All employees are expected to practice proper safety methods, both on the job and off, as posted, instructed, and discussed. In addition, each employee is to contribute to company safety by following the rules of safe conduct, bringing unsafe conditions to the attention of management, and recommending actions to improve the effectiveness of our program.
Training
At Statewide Painting, training is the cornerstone of our safety program. We understand that a knowledgeable employee is a safe employee. Statewide Painting maintains a strict employee safety training program that includes, but is not limited to:
- First Aid/CPR
- Fall Protection
- Lift Training
- OSHA 10/30
- Respirator Protection/Fit Testing
- Hazard Communication
Our training classes, which include bilingual classes, are held daily, weekly, and annually, both in-house and on-site. In-house training classes are conducted in our training facility. As well as protecting the safety of our employees, we protect the investment of our clients by performing employee background reports and routine drug tests.
